BRIDGEWATER SHOWCASES FIVE NEW MODELS IN THE POLK COUNTY FALL PARADE OF HOMES

LAKELAND, FL –Fall has arrived and with the new season comes a flurry of activity at BridgeWater, one of Lakeland’s most successful master-planned communities. Named Community of the Year in 2007 and in 2008 by the Polk County Builders Association, the development has exceeded LandMar’s expectations, with over 160 sales since opening two years ago.

The community showcased five new Models in the 2008 Parade of Homes which began October 18th and ran through October 26th. Model Homes by William Ryan, Highland Homes and Vallery Custom Homes were open throughout the week and community events were planned each Saturday during the Tour.

William Ryan Homes, one of the founding builders at BridgeWater, recently opened two new furnished models and was excited to participate in this year’s Parade of Homes. The Jacaranda features four bedrooms plus a study, three bathrooms and a three car garage and is base priced from the mid $200s. With over 2,500 square feet of living space, oversized master bedroom with walk-in closet and a spacious floor plan, the model has become one of William Ryan’s best showing homes. Also showcased on the Tour was the Sanibel, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two car garage. This 2,083 square foot home features a large kitchen opening up to a family room, a formal living room and dining room plus a study. The Sanibel is base priced from the high $100s.

A new addition to the BridgeWater family is Highland Homes, one of Polk County’s most successful homebuilders. Known as the value leaders, Highland Homes recently debuted two new models and have three additional Express Address Homes available or under construction at the community. The first furnished model is the Williamson II, a four bedroom, three-bathroom home that features nearly 2,500 square feet of living space. With a three-car garage, formal living room and casual family room, the home is designed to appeal to any family. The Springfield, the second furnished model, is an open floor plan with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a two-car garage and 1,659 square feet of living space. Both models have been decorated by Kay Green Designs to showcase the lifestyle of the typical BridgeWater homeowner. Highland’s homes range in size from 1,567 to 2,750 square feet and are priced from $174,900 to the mid $200s.       

Rounding out the showcase is the Hickory Model designed by Vallery Custom Homes. Located in the Village Winnipeg overlooking Lake Peggy, the Hickory is a three bedroom, two bathroom home with a brick paver courtyard garage. It’s loaded with upgrades and the builder is offering this model home as a leaseback or immediate delivery.

To help celebrate the week-long Parade, BridgeWater hosted a Fall Festival on October 18th and October 25th. Guests picked up their tour map and registered to win prizes including two $250 gift cards and other community gifts. The Lake Club and the models featured various Fall themed treats to get visitors in the spirit of the season and kids’ activities such as face painting and candy apple decorating capped off the event.
